Chapter 715 Asmodeus - Gods And Demons Assemble
"Wow, I did not think that would work. I guess it works better in single names." I remarked, drawing Levi\'s questioning eye, over the round table that laid a few Kings of Hell while a few princes stood off to the side like good little squires.
"What did you do?" Said Drar\'ethiul.
Cracking a smile, I spoke, " Reverse my name to Suedomsa, and some dummy fell for it. I worry for the next generation of Devils. Cleo is so naive."
Levi-chan chuckled and leaned back into her chair, crossing her arms,"The Master of the Hell\'s calling a newborn half-devil naive. Don\'t you see the irony? Have you taken her as your disciple?"
"Maybe," I remarked, watching the darkening of eyes belonging to the Kings of Hell. How they are so quick to worry about their position. Can they honestly be called kings if they are so fearful of some naive child whose greatest contributions borders on connecting to the Sin of Lust? It saddens me to think about what we once were.
"Cleo and Yu Jing have potential. Cleo more so. I have never seen such a soul before. She holds in her Astral Force, albeit sealed by her ignorance. What do you think, Aldrich?"
Seated near his right hand, Solomon, brooding with a clenched jaw, Aldrich locked eyes with me, "Why are we even talking of this? I have no interest in some child."
"Your just mad. You were pulled into the Abyss with us," Paimon, that goat fucking prick, remarked, twirling his hands around his long violet hair.
A glint of darkness swelled over Aldrich\'s silver iris rim that sparkled a multicolored glow cascading over silver. He turned to Paimon and placed an arm over the round table. "You have no idea what awaits us in Iliah, do you? You, who are not even a Paragon, yet dare to comment on power?" He tilted his head back to me, " Each Heaven represents the level a paragon can reach. As it stands, we reside in the Fourth Heaven. What if I told you a Tier Four Paragon resides here. A Chaos Lord that was deformed by the laws of the Abyss, tainted beyond recognition."
Silence fell, and a coldness carved its way into my heart, leaving its mark. Were Chaos Lords so feared back then? Even now, I am only a Tier Two Paragon, same with the False God.
"Surely, he cannot handle us all?" Beleth fired off, blinded by his arrogance. Like most of the Kings of Hell, he was but a God-King. But he was defeated along with all other kings, including a Paragon, by my wife while weakened and pregnant.
Fighting against a Chaos Lord would garner the same result. Even if all my kings were all tier-one Paragons, the result would not change. That is what it means to be a paragon.
"An unfit king if there ever was one," Said Soloman finding a cold smile. "Or did you forget your spanking against Levi-chan?"
"Oh my, I forgot about that!\' Levi cheered, cracking a smile revealing the glint of fangs, " You fuckers tried to kill my Ezra. How could I forget about that."
"Easy now, dear, torment them after we leave." I comforted, shaking my head. Now was not the time for discord, "Our goal is Raziel, not this Chaos Lord.
Silence once again seemed to echo. It wasn\'t long before Zagan spoke, "Have we found any location of the angels?"
"No, but I say we lay waste to this land," Paimon uttered, clenching his fist. " We need to grow stronger. We need to be Paragons unless you would forbid us as you did before. Surely, my king, you felt the power contained in those abyssal souls. My god, I instantly gained enlightenment after cutting down a few beasts."
"Most Planes far exceed us in terms of paragons," Levi also said, agreeing with the others while not openly stating it.
Peering down at the four kings who all traveled with me, I frowned, pondering over their words. To say I was not worried would be a lie; with power comes a newly founded arrogance I genuinely do not wish to deal with.
Even if all of them attacked me, the result would remain the same, same if all the other tier-one Paragon of all the Twelve Planes attack, it would be a simple matter to kill\'em all. But this time, I will allow it.
I am about to ascend, so none of this will be my problem.
"I will allow it, you—"
"Finally!" A booming voice thundered, blowing our tent to ash. Lifting my eyes towards that damn minotaur bearing his fangs, carrying Abbadon over his shoulder, glistening, I frowned.
"Baphomet, you\'ve returned." Levi cheered, flying up, wrapping her arms over that giant bastard. Appearing like a small child in his towering stature, she glanced at me and chuckled. "See what I did? Now you and Azeroth will finally reach Paragon; you may just jump up to my level."
"Then I will finally be able to kick your ass without using the Blessing of our Demonic Mother." Baphomet, coldly challenged, glaring madly at me, releasing a hot breath of air, he growled, stirring the forest we resided in.
I am already regretting this, oh Lucifer, how I wish to ascend now and be done with this matter. I hope we can kill Raziel quickly.
"Speaking of? Where is Azeroth?" I remarked, glancing around only now remembering that lazy bastard.
"Studying, you know him. He only has one interest in this world." Baphomet said, descending to the ground. He glared at everyone and focused on Aldrich and Soloman, who had not bothered to stand like the other kings. "So you actually came, or did Lilith kidnapped you? I bet she kidnapped you."
"It\'s good to see you again, Baphomet," Aldrich regarded, carrying unusual respect for this minotaur. Their relationship had always amazed me. Few could stand Baphomet, especially when he goes mad under the effects of his sin.
"Same!"
"Soloman, you little horse shit, you still after Arsene?"
The God of Wisdom smiled, narrowing his silver eyes, and nodded, " Why not? The Flames of Hellfire could prove rather neat. I have even created a cage just for Arsene, so he will come right back when I kill him. A handy tool."
"In lucifers unholy grace, your a madman," Said Paimon, in all smiles " Can\'t you wait till we—"
"I will hold back my desire. I was merely waiting for Arsene to perfect his flame. To perfect his control, once the Gate of Iluthath is open, his life will be irrelevant, isn\'t that right, My Lord?"
Aldrich indifferently nodded, " Indeed."
