Chapter 222 - 159 Summon Skeleton Four Strong, Extraordinary Template 3
Dean McKenzie drooled at those attribute points and traits!
Though the fellow was just at Level 1, McKenzie could predict the terrifying power this lad would possess as he grew stronger.
Even now, his combat capabilities were surprisingly substantial and abnormal. At the very least, those pale Skeletons outside their gathering place were nothing more than stale shrimps and rotten fishes in his presence, as he could sweep them away singlehandedly.
The promoted Finch Olmedo dove right in.
He didn’t even brandish a sword, his fists punching down one Little Skeleton after another.
Shortly, he had reduced the thousands of Skeletons to just a few hundred. Watching Olmedo demonstrate his prowess, McKenzie was incredibly frustrated.
However, Olmedo didn’t keep fighting indefinitely. After causing a ruckus for an hour and letting off steam from the joy of his promotion, he stopped the slaughter, instead starting to capture the Skeletons alive, dragging them to the gathering place.
McKenzie didn’t react at first, only understanding when Olmedo brought a barely intact Skeleton to a dying old man, helped the old man kill it, and then assisted the old man in beginning his Promotion Ceremony.
A smile appeared on his face.
“This lad!”
McKenzie was reminded of Anthony in Olmedo.
Both were good Samaritans.
After completing his own class promotion, the first thing Olmedo thought of was helping others with theirs.
With Olmedo’s help, quickly, the hundred or so people in the gathering place all underwent the Promotion Ceremony.
Although they all proceeded with the ceremony, not all were successful.
After all, this Promotion Ceremony was pretty basic. Even though the success rate had increased due to Old Six’s amendments and the Power of Land of Bone, it still wasn’t more than one out of ten.
Out of over a hundred people, only ten odd people succeeded in their promotions.
Furthermore, not everyone chose to be a combatant. Of the 14, six chose to be craftsmen while eight chose a combat profession.
As for Templates, apart from Olmedo, the best they could find was the Excellent Template.
McKenzie only felt a bit relieved after seeing this.
If there were anymore Extraordinary ones, he felt that he would lose his mind. “The Promotion Ceremony can be attempted once a day by each individual.
Given Olmedo’s pace, it won’t be long before everyone in the Settlement Area becomes a Promoted professional.
It seems I will have to add some content for them.
Otherwise, the over 1000 pale Skeletons, all of which are below Level 10, will quickly be insufficient for their leveling!”
As he watched Olmedo’s promotions, McKenzie muttered to himself.
This issue wasn’t big, as the highest level of Skeleton that could be naturally brought forth by the Land of Bone was 61.
If he could provide more energy, he could bolster the Skeletons’ strength. “Besides, I found plenty of Instance Scrolls from Blackwater City, ranging from One-turn to Third-turn. I’ll put them in a treasure chest and throw it over there with a powerful Skeleton acting as a guard to make it look presentable.
If he can defeat it, let him take the Instance Scrolls.
Based on this lad’s abilities, he should be able to get some good results.
Also, let’s move the Promotion Temple over. Let’s train this lad as soon as possible and then throw him out to work for me. Seeing him all day long annoys me!”
McKenzie resolutely said, pulling his attention away from Olmedo.
No more watching, it just makes him feel worse.
Over the following few days, McKenzie continued to play his role as the big spender.
However, his reputation had already been built up, he no longer had to go to the marketplace himself.
Everyone in the marketplace knew there was this spendthrift sheep.
They would bring any good items to McKenzie’s inn of their own accord.
Thanks to McKenzie’s generosity, his small inn was always packed. Plenty of salespeople visited every day, they even rented rooms next to McKenzie’s.
Their goal was to be near this plump sheep and profit off him.
This didn’t bother McKenzie.
In fact, he had deliberately cultivated this atmosphere. There were just too many people seeking him each day, McKenzie couldn’t handle them all himself, so he had no choice but to hire the brother-sister duo from the inn to be his greeters.
At the same time, he set his meeting hours.
From nine in the morning till three in the afternoon.
Indeed, McKenzie had honestly turned spending money into a job.
Fulfilling this role, brought McKenzie considerable benefits.
During these days, McKenzie purchased a sizable number of Skeleton Templates, amassing nearly ten thousand, with three to four thousand of them being high-quality ones.
Unfortunately, none of them were Excellent or higher.
This was normal, however, as high-quality Skeleton Templates were rare in themselves and have a low drop rate. Furthermore, a downgrade in quality occurred when the template dropped.
Excellent Templates required a Rare Skeleton in order to drop. Additionally, with the Giant Serpent Tribe’s market not being sizeable, the chronic scarcity was normal.
Besides the templates, what McKenzie cared most about were Instance Scrolls, various items, and lots of goods related to secondary professions.
Regarding the secondary professions, not many had transferred, but McKenzie had obtained quite a few blueprints ranging from Level 0 to 3. He had spent a hefty sum to collect them.
After gathering them, McKenzie moved them to the Land of Bone to see if the Skeletons there were interested and if it was possible to train them.
If it wasn’t feasible, McKenzie would then move them to the Gathering Place.
There were already quite a few secondary professionals there. He could still tram these people as they were all citizens of the Land of Bone.
They belonged to him when they were alive, and they were his Skeletons after they died..
