Skill

A skill is a special ability that people could have by talent or by learning it personally. When a person’s cultivation had reached a certain rank, more skills would be able to be learned.

Different from the magic that needs complicated chantation, skills could be invoked by having the wielder to imagines the skill to be invoked or simply by saying the skill name. Skills could be also used by using a magic weapon that possesses a skill inside it.

Different from a normal skill, there is a unique skill. Unique skills are very rare there might be no one in a kingdom that has a unique skill. A unique skill could only be obtained by using a forbidden scroll that gives you a unique skill or using a magic item that imbued with a unique skill or having an incredibly rare talent.

“Your majesty, is the magic beast dumb? Doesn’t the situation had more or less explained what’s going on?” (Fedra)

“Fedra, don’t use such vulgar and rude words, you’re in the presence of the emperor,” (Brad)

“Wha!? How dare you humiliate me-” (Bear King)

“Stop it, bear king. We’ll definitely lose if we make them our enemy too, we could continue this after we punish the demon that dares to disguise as the lion emperor first,” The wise monkey king stopped the bear king that about to go on a rampage.

Seeing the monkey king stopped the bear king made Oz smiled pleasantly.

“I’m grateful there is someone wise enough amongst the magic beasts, I’m the emperor of the Tarot empire that had just risen lately, nice to meet you, the wise monkey king and other kings of the magic beasts,” Oz greet the magic beast kings.

“So you’re the emperor of the new empire, nice to meet you too, the emperor of Tarot empire,” The monkey king answered Oz’s greetings

“Hmph! How dare you ignore me you lowly goblin!” One of the demon clones shouted and dashes to Oz’s position. Despite having one of the demon clones dashing at him, Oz remains standing leisurely, making the wary magic beast kings confused seeing him too calm.

Seeing Oz’s relaxed posture, the demon got more furious.

“You insolent-” (Demonic Slime)

“You insolent, you’re in the presence of the great emperor of Tarot,” (Gareth)

Before the demon clone could even get near to Oz, Gareth appeared behind him and strikes him with his greatsword, splitting the demon clone into two.

“W-wha!?” (Monkey King)

“Impossible!” (Demonic Slime)

The demon clone that got split into two by Gareth scattered into dust.

“I have an offer for you magic beast kings,” (Oz)

“An offer?” (Monkey King)

“Yes, an offer. You see, there seem to be some magic beasts that attacked my empire these days, We are searching for the one responsible for sending those magic beasts to my empire and threatens the peaceful days of my people,” When Oz brings up the topic, the atmosphere suddenly changed, as if the temperature suddenly got dropped drastically that even the demonic slime king shivers from it.

“Now here’s the deal, if you agree to be ruled under me and followed my rules, I will protect you and all of your brethren and gives all of you a life that you’ll never imagine, including helping you out from this situation,” Oz indicates of helping the magic beasts on facing the demonic slime king in front of them.

“But if you refuse,” Suddenly the temperature got dropped even more. The magic beast kings and even the demonic slime king trembled because of the terrifying amount of murderous intent that gushed out together at the same time.

Oz, Aegir, Fedra, Ibra, Brad, Gurolf, Gareth, Magra, Firenze, Talak, Razor, Thydal, Azaline, Geeta, and Oz’s other clones gushed out their murderous intent, enveloping the forest with terror because of the murderous intent of several [King] and [Duke] rank.

“I’ll punish you and all of your brethren for attacking my empire and for endangering my people,” (Oz)

“We accept!” The monkey king unexpectedly accepted Oz’s offer even quicker than Oz had expected.

The demonic slime king clones started to clashes with Oz’s retainers, but Oz’s other clones remain idle. All of the magic beast kings got shocked when they saw the prowess of Oz’s comrades.

“Have you seen this man’s comrades’ prowess? They’re terrifyingly strong, and this man, I didn’t sense any lies when he said his offer before. From the fact that they’re leaving him, the emperor, without any hesitation. It could already give us a hint as to how strong this emperor is,” (Monkey King)

“And under the protection of the emperor, we might decrease the casualties we’re having because of the constant battle with the demons. It’s a very benefitting offer,” (Monkey King)

“As expected of the wise monkey king, it seems that I don’t misjudge you,” Said Oz with a satisfied smile.

“Thank you, kind emperor. So? Will you guys accept it too? Even if you guys don’t accept it, I’ll still accept his offer,” (Monkey King)

“W-what? Monkey king, you mean you’ll betray us-” (Bear King)

“I’ll accept,” (Sky King)

“Sky king!?” (Bear King)

“Just like what the monkey king had said, it’s not a bad offer. And bear king, we’re kings, we need to consider the future of our brethren too,” (Sky King)

Right when Oz’s talking, the demonic slime king dashes to Oz with his real body, hoping that its strike will hit the off guarded Oz. But fate didn’t at the demonic slime king’s side, Oz had been monitoring the demonic slime king real body with Oz’s other clones, monitoring it so it won’t flee.

“A king needed more than bravery,” Oz deflect the demonic slime king’s strike bare-handed. Oz pushes the demonic slime king back and draws his greatsword.

The demonic slime king got slashed by Oz’s greatsword directly and got flew a couple of meters because of the impact of Oz’s goblin [King] clone’s terrifying strength.

Oz’s figure when he’s blocking the demonic slime king’s attack bare-handed looks so majestic, making the magic beast kings awestruck by his figure.

“Dear great emperor of the Tarot empire, you who had been sent by the war gods to meet us and lead us, please allow us to serve under you and become your shield,” Said the monkey king as he took a kneeling position with its huge figure. Not only the monkey king, the bear king, and the sky king also took a kneeling position as they’re also awestruck by Oz’s majestic figure.

“I gladly accept your service,” Oz pleasantly accept their loyalty, even though he’s slightly confused with the bear king’s attitude sudden change.

“Ugh… To think that the mighty me will be defeated here. If I die here. Then I won’t let any single of you leave this place alive!!! Hell’s Gate!!!” The demonic slime king shouted, and a huge gate suddenly appeared from the thin air, bringing an ominous aura that envelops the area.

“Ren,” (Aegir)

“Yea, I know. Fenrir, Reo,” A huge and beautiful white wolf and a huge majestic and pitch-black lion suddenly appeared at Oz’s both sided.

“T-the darkness spirit king… And the Ice spirit king!?” The monkey king muttered in shock.

The demonic gate slowly opened, showing pitch-black clouds covering the inside of the gate, but countless red eyes shone from inside the clouds, and slowly, countless demons started to appear.

“A demonic gate?” (Monkey King)

“Well, that’s a damn terrifying gate, master,” (Fenrir)

“They’re many, but they’re weak, master,” (Reo)

“I see, then let’s start, it’s been a while since we fight together, right? Let’s rampage, guys!!!!” (Oz)
